ANNOUNCEMENTS
1. Thank you for your continued support of our parish ministry. You may continue to send your contributions to the parish office. Please consider giving electronically continuously or as a one-time event through the links available on the parish website. Please use the receptacle in the back of the church to leave your contribution if you brought it with you today.
2. Masks are now recommended for all in indoor settings. If you feel comfortable wearing a mask, please do so. Help us in caring for the life and health of each other.
3. Trinity has begun their annual school supply drive. There is a box in the back of the church to leave your donations.
4. Sunday School is returning to Grace on September 12. This is for children ages three to sixth grade; parents are welcome to stay and participate. Sunday School will begin with a light breakfast at 8:45 am and end at 10:10 am. Watch for more details and prepare for family fun and learning.
5. PEDER EIDE, a Christian musician, will be performing a concert for youth at Royall High School on October 23. Stay tuned for details. This event is being sponsored by members of Grace Lutheran Church.
6. COMMUNION INSTRUCTION for children will be given soon. If you have a child you would like to attend, let the church office know (608-462-5398).
7. Know a child who needs a BIBLE? We will have a Bible Distribution event during worship on October 31. Let the office know which children need Bibles and their ages so we can have Bibles on hand for all who need them.
8. Youth 8th through 12th grade The National Youth Gathering is next July in Minneapolis. This is a do not miss event and Michelle Clark is willing to organize this trip. See the bulletin for more details and ask your parents and friends about the wonderful time they had at these Gatherings.
9. Volunteers are needed to host coffee hour at Grace. The coffee and kool-aid are provided—you only need to bring treats for 15-20 people. More in the bulletin—sign up under the window in the back of church.
11. (Grace only) We have people looking a ride to worship service. Please let a Council member know if you can assist in this way.
12. (Grace only) Grace is looking for volunteers to count the collection after service on Sunday. If you can help with this vital ministry, let a Council member know.
13. Know someone interested in Baptism? Arrangements can be made to for baptism during worship services. Contact the parish office for a Baptism Request Form and arrangements will be made.
14. Wiggle worship bags at Grace have been cleaned and updated. Youngsters are able to play with these items during the service and return them afterward. Additional coloring sheets are available on the back table.
15. Did you know that Grace has a nursery for little ones on each floor of the building? The upstairs one is in the John room (first door on the right down the hall at the top of the stairs). In the basement level use the Simon the Zealot room. There is a changing table in the John room and one in the large bathroom near the kitchen area in the basement. The upstairs room has a speaker so you can hear the service while tending to your little ones. If you have never seen these spaces, check them out. They are there for your use—we love children in church but know that it can be difficult to be in the sanctuary with children for a full service.
